Facebook has discontinued P2P Payments, where you can pay people directly on Facebook, through Messenger, in the UK and France.
These are the two countries that first offered P2P Payments, and it leads me to wonder how soon the rest of the P2P Payment countries will come off line.
Facebook stated it has numerous money transmission licenses in the US, so its possible this type of payment could continue there.
However, as the old saying goes, “It’s better to be safe than to be sorry.”
Are there other solutions available?
Absolutely and even ones that work directly in Messenger.
The best I’ve seen so far is Invoicing You, which operated flawlessly within Messenger, has has many features other solutions either don’t have at all, or don’t have affordably.
Invoicing You supports debit and credit cards, as well as ACH Payments, and has state-of-the-art features such as Recurring Invoices, Ascending Invoices, where the price rises after each payment (creating a buying frenzy), and Group Invoices, where the price goes down if x number of sales are made, and everyone’s payment is processed at a future date and time (encouraging sharing and social vitality).
It is also PCI compliant, which is crucial to any business utilizing an invoicing or payment system.
There are other options available, but none with the flexibility, security, and ease of use, not to mention affordability.
As more people are willing to pay through technologies such as Messenger, it is important for your business to find solutions that fit, have advanced capabilities, and are affordable for any size business.
I encourage you to look for Invoicing and Payment solutions, especially ones that will work within the Messenger platform, and give my highest recommendation to Invoicing You.
I am so encouraged by this software solution that I am promoting it at the moment.
Whether you use this particular software, be sure to find a solution before FB decides to end all P2P Payments.
